And so the adventure begins

I have decided to jump in the deep end and sell the dresses I am making. I have set up a blog but it does not have too much in there yet but here is the link for future reference

oh and here are some of the dresses- I will put them on my other blog but I really want ones of the little ones wearing them :)

I have named the business Skip Chasey. Just came to me one night and has stuck- not too boyish or girly.

Dabble Dabble

So I have been dabbling in a whole range of crafts lately. Clothes, hair clips, canvases- pretty much anything.

Sew woman SEW...

And that I have been. I have relaly enjoyed sewing lately. I have been involved in a forums softie swap with a Christmas theme, but ofcourse forgot to take any photos. I will get some though. I have also been making little softies for my nieces and my younger sister.

I have also been making Alyssa some dresses that I have now decided to sell. Let's see how that goes.

Oh and the latest is a fabric dolls house- OMG it is GORGEOUS-

here is the tutorial

Well we have been in the house for nearly 5 weeks I think. It is gorgeous!!!! but having issues uploading photos on here so you will have to believe me. It is 4 bedrooms main with his/hers walk ins and a huge ensuite. Oh and heaps of entertaining room.

Alyssa seems to be happy here and is loving running around the house.
ETA some of the outside

I have been sewing SO much lately- I will make another post on this soon.

In the move

Well I have not been able to make much at this time as we are in Temporary accomodation after our move to Perth. Hopefully we find a house soom and I can set up a great sewing area and will be able to get some stuff that I want to get crafty made.

Oh and yes I need a house with a GREAT kitchen, so that is making it a bit harder to find something great.

Sarah's bubbaslegs

So with my gorgeous little girl wearing cute as cloth nappies, I did not want to cover them up with pants. BUT I also did not want to pay an arm and a leg for the more expensive leg warmers that are being sold. What was I to do? Make my own. So off to the shops to purchase so knee high socks (this proved harder then I thought). I was only able to get large kids knee highs from target and they were the pink and brown ones. At Big W I was able to get ladies ones but only in blue and green stripes. (I will be hitting kmart tomorrow)..

So here they are.

TUTU adoreable

What little girl would not love a tutu?
I made a tutu for a friends little girls 2nd birthday. BUT Alyssa decided she wanted it, well I was not going to say no. So off I went to spotlight to get some more fabric for another tutu. And here are the finished products. I will get some piccies of them on the girls soon.
